Who We Are





... started her career producing at one of the largest ad agencies in NYC. She has premiered her short films worldwide and is now making her first feature with PBS. As a producer she’s looking for raw talent: the do-it-all filmmaker who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and problem solve. She especially wants to be a support for other women out there doing their thing.



... learned the craft through timed filmmaking competitions and on-set experience. He’s worked on titles such as Olympus Has Fallen, The End of the Tour, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Charles is looking for filmmakers that know how to make a lot from a little. He enjoys building talent and producing directors that have innate storytelling ability and are good collaborators.

Michael Bofshever

… has sustained a distinguished acting career for over forty years. He made his stage debut in Al Pacino’s Richard III for the Theatre Company of Boston and went on to be a founding member of The Actors Producing Company in New York City. His stage career has included The Actors Studio, Circle Repertory Company, The Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Taper Too Festival, and West Coast Jewish Theater, to name only a few. Michael has an extensive list of guest starring TV roles, most recently on How To Get Away With Murder, Barry, Scandal, True Blood, The Shield, Private Practice and dozens more. He is perhaps best known for his recurring role as Mr. Pinkman on Breaking Bad, as well as a series regular on the Disney Channel’s The Jersey in the role of Larry Lighter. His many film credits include Lasse Hailstorm’s A Dog’s Purpose, Paul Greengrass’s United 93, Mark Rydell’s Crime of the Century, and R.J. Daniel Hanna’s Miss Virginia.


larry fong

... is best known for being the director of photography for Zack Snyder's films, including 300, WatchmenSucker Punch, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Fong showed interest and talent in art at a young age. His experience in photography and film was self-taught, beginning in junior high with short films shot on Super 8, cel animation, and stop motion projects. He graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Linguistics and from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, specializing in film and photography. He began his professional career filming music videos, garnering enough attention to lead to filming two independent films and various TV pilots, commercials, and shorts.

Andrew Wonder

... is a connoisseur of emerging filmmaking technology and style. Enlisted by MTV at the age of 17, he was primed in under-the-gun filmmaking when he had to shoot, produce, sound mix, and edit an episode of Made. He has won Cannes Lions, Clios, and his own debut feature film premiered at SXSW.


Liz Nord

... is a documentary filmmaker and multi-platform producer who has created and shown work across the globe. She is also the Editor-in-Chief and Lead Producer at No Film School, the world's largest online filmmaking community, where she co-hosts the popular Indie Film Weekly podcast. Projects have included Emmy-winning election coverage for MTV News and a documentary for Wyclef Jean's NGO Yele Haiti. Liz is also an active member of Film Fatales, and has spoken and written extensively on a wide range of creativity and media-related topics, notably as a TED speaker at TEDxDumbo and as a multiple-time SXSW presenter.


Becky Burkhard

... has been producing commercials and short films for the past 15 years and is currently an Executive Producer at BBDO in NYC. For the past 14 years, Becky has been active in the Off-Broadway theater community and has written and directed several successful Off-Broadway shows. She is currently producing a documentary short about endometriosis with Studiofest co-founder Jess Jacklin. She received her bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a masters degree from New York University.


Shruti Ganguly

... is an award-winning filmmaker and recovering media executive based in New York City. She has made several feature films and VR films that have gone to Sundance, Venice, Berlin, Telluride and AFI. Shruti has directed music videos and shorts that premiered on MTV, NYLON, Paper Magazine, Conde Nast, and crafted the #MySentence series on prison reform for the Obama Administration, featuring Tim Robbins, Pusha T and Gabourey Sidibe. In the fall of 2017, she launched her own production company, honto88, which focuses on scripted film and television, VR, and narrative features and videos with strong, often under-represented voices and through a socially responsible lens. Shruti wrapped production on a feature with Keanu Reeves called Green Dolphin, and is developing several other scripted films and TV series, including The Women Who Made New York with Killer Films and Girly with Refinery29 and Rashida Jones.

She brings her background in event production and business development for the arts and culture sector - most recently at the Guggenheim Museum in NY - to StudioFest, helping to create an environment that fosters inspiration, collaboration, and innovation.
